The short version
Clear Paths is made by Cloudgate Studios. We do not collect your personal information, and we cannot see your game data.
Your worlds and settings are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, they also sync through your own private iCloud account, so they can appear on your other devices. Clear Paths has no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking.
This policy covers the Clear Paths app for iPhone and iPad.
What the app stores
The app stores only what it needs to run the game and remember your choices.

World and theme names are whatever you type or keep, so they are stored the same way as everything else in the table.
Clear Paths does not ask for access to your contacts, photos, location, camera, or microphone.
iCloud sync
When you are signed in to iCloud, Clear Paths uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your game data through the private database in your own iCloud account. This does leave your device, but it goes to your iCloud storage, not to us. We do not have access to it.
Apple handles this data under its own terms and privacy policy, and it counts toward your iCloud storage. The app also receives silent notifications through Apple's push service when your data changes on another device. These are never shown to you.
If you are not signed in to iCloud, or iCloud is unavailable, your game data stays on your device and the game still works.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-in with us
- No advertising
- No analytics or third-party SDKs in the app
- No tracking across other apps or websites
- No selling or sharing of your information
- No purchases inside the app
- No servers of our own: the app sends nothing to us
Apple may give developers aggregated App Store statistics. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may also give us crash and performance reports. Apple controls what these contain.
If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you include. We use it only to reply and help you.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays until you delete it. Because it is on your device and in your iCloud, you control it directly, and we cannot delete it for you.
- A world: deleting it in the app removes the world, its progress, and its statistics from all your devices signed in to the same iCloud account.
- A custom theme: deleting it in the app removes it from all your devices signed in to the same iCloud account.
- Everything on one device: deleting the app removes its data from that device.
- Everything in iCloud: deleting the app does not delete your iCloud copy. You can remove it in your device's iCloud storage settings. This also removes your synced settings, which have no delete option in the app.
Deletions you make while offline reach your other devices once they reconnect.
Children
Clear Paths does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's handling of data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
